This is a porcelain medium deep plate (about 9.25 inches wide and 1 inch deep) with a hand painted and carved design of a Sourdough bread loaf and some herbs. It is covered with a white interior glaze, as well as an Avocado green exterior glaze.

This plate is the third installment in my “plates against hate” series. The idea is I make a one-of-a-kind art plate, you buy it and get to have a really cool functional piece of art, and I donate 100% of the profits to a pre-determined cause that is important to me! You get to support an artist, support social justice and mutual aid causes, and join me in making a tiny difference in the world!

This time, I am donating 100% of the proceeds from this plate to a local Honduran family (a mother and her teenage daughter) from the Flathead Valley who were kidnapped by ICE a few weeks ago and are currently being held without due process in a detention facility.
